So what are the differences between the Saturn version and the PS1 version? After doing some research I found out that the Saturn version came out like 2 years before the ps1 version. They are both 5th gen systems, so are there any differences? Also does the Expansion Plus for the PS1 add something to the original PS1 game or does it just continue it? Like are there new cards or new maps...

Just trying to figure out this time line thing lol

Oh and I know that the DS version is just the PS1 version.

As far as I know, the Saturn game and first PS1 game are the same. Culdcept Expansion Plus on the PS1 includes all of the maps from the All Japan Cepter's Cup at the time, but it doesn't include any new cards. The game save is interchangeable between Culdcept Expansion and Expansion Plus.

Culdcept DS is actually an updated Saturn/PS1 game (and much better). It has many refinements, such as some new cards, many more maps, lots of free downloadables, more avatars, and some much-needed gameplay improvements (such as fort bonuses - the Saturn/PS1 game has none). :D
