Greetings, fellow players! Since I have been borrowing ideas and themes from so many of you for so long, I thought I would share something I came up with. This idea is pretty recent and not thoroughly tested, so any advice or changes would be welcomed. I call this deck "Cardless", and the basic premise is to destroy/steal your opponent's cards in order to cripple whatever strategy they are trying to deploy against you.

Creatures
3 Book Worm
3 Deathquito
3 Sea Bonze
2 Cloud Gizmo
2 Gremlin
4 Powder Eater

Items
4 Storm Armor
2 Tonfa

Spells
2 Bulimia
2 Changeling
1 Chariot
3 Crusher
1 Erosion
1 Holy Word 0
3 Mutation
2 Paralyzer
3 Poison Mind
1 Quicksand
1 Relief
1 Senility
1 Suppression
1 Telegnosis
2 Theft
2 Trade

Strategy- Figure out what makes your opponent's deck tick, and deny them that by destroying and/or stealing those cards. It may take a lap or two to get going, but after that, watch out. Attack with Deathquito (preferably armed with Tonfa), use Book Worm's and Cloud Gizmo's territory abilities, cast Crusher-Poison Mind-Suppression-Theft, throw a Bulimia onto an opponent's creature with one of your Powders next to it, even use Changeling and Erosion if you'd like. Any creature that they put down, you can Trade one of your Powders for it once you've spread around a few fuzz balls.

If they end up getting something strong out there and levelling it up, you have some options. Spread around your Powders to fuel Storm Armor, as most of your creatures can use it, and take it down. Or cast Senility or Paralyzer on it. Last option could be to level up one of your own Powders, and then Trade for it (Later on attacking your recently traded fuzzball).

Best way to win is to chain yellow and/or blue, and level up your Sea Bonzes and/or Gremlins depending on the chain(s). Mutation/Quicksand/Holy Word 0 away, it's tough to take down a levelled up Bonze or Gremlin.

Anyway, hope you find this interesting. Like I said, it is still a work in progress, only played with it a few times. Any suggestions on how to improve it would be appreciated. Thanks to all who have posted decks in the past, lots of cool strategies and ideas!

Hey, nice first post. :)

I like this concept a lot, but I think you can take it even further. Maybe make it difficult for your opponent to use cards in general, on top of depriving him of them from his hand?

Thief
more Gremlin

Gremlin Claw/Tooth
The Hand

Capture
Silence
Waste

You might also consider including a strong G-production element in the Spell cards to power this. Right now, you have none and you're likely not to have the G you need when you need it. Fairy Light works well for something like this, since you can have the enchantment happily cranking out G for you while you're doing other stuff.

Cool ideas! I will experiment, see what I come up with. Thanks!

I have kind of a deck like that, but if someone lays down the idol where you can't use spells on other people, it makes a lot of the cards useless. You might want to include Holy Blight to eradicate those pesky idols.

Sounds like a fun deck! You could take it even further, though: add some "Unnameable" to your book. This monstrosity is the spiritual successor to the Death Gaze from the PS2 game (see my avatar) - when you use it, it deletes the opposing creature from your enemy's book (until the end of the match)!

I once built a book based on Death Gaze on my PS2 and tested it against one of the story characters to see what would happen. I managed to delete something like 9 or 11 cards from his book, and then it seemed to simply stop deleting after that, as if there was a limit to how small I could make his deck.
