Revenant + Simulacrum

Hm... can't do normal damage to it, and it becomes a Vampire, so unless they're invading with an Attacks First creature wielding a 40+ST scroll, it's probably not dying... and then it morphs back to a 50ST Revenant, so direct damage really isn't an option, either. Vampire being Attacks First also discourages people from trying to abuse Simulacrum's damage-for-G trade. Fun!

Revenant + Reflection

It's a little more expensive than its Simulacrum cousin, but it's even more effective. Add Living Mirror for extra flavor.

Tarasque + Angry Mask

As if Tarasque wasn't angry enough already. Put Opal Idol somewhere on the map for extra spice.

Baldanders + Prismatic Wand

20% chance of hilarity... 80% chance of hilarity AND carnage.

Baldanders + Stormcauser

Heads, I chop you up like Louie Anderson at Sirloin Stockade. Tails, I'm the steak.

Mummy + Death Choker

I kill you for fun, and I kill me for profit. Best when used with Chariot or Intrusion, since Mummy is Defensive.

Revenant + Revelation

In one turn I paralyze thy neighbor and in the following turn thy neighbor's blood is fresh and ready without further resistance if you know what I mean.

Here it is over 3.5 years since Culdcept Saga came out in the US, and we're still finding sweet card combos. Check this one out. I tested this last night and it works beautifully.

Mummy + Necro Scarab

Die, get paid, keep the land!

Oh look, another fun one... :D

Triton + Boomerang / Soul Ray

Keep your item card and draw another card... just be sure not to do this with a full hand, or bye-bye item!

Found an evil combo while playing Story Mode vs. the AI while practicing with my Chaos deck for Round 4 vs. Willben20.

One of my tricks was to use Flammefleur with Gaseous Form / Petrify Stone (A combo that is already posted).

While playing vs. the AI, I just happened to land on his Mirage, and I figured, why not bust in there with a Flammefleur + Magma Armor to take some money away from him. He lost 300+ G, but I was shocked to find that his poor Mirage (enchanted with Simulacrum) got hosed at battle end :O :O LOL

So, that's my combo - put Simulacrum on an enemy creature and rush in with Flammefleur.

Here's a card combo to try out. I haven't tested it yet, but if it works it equals

Silver Idol+ Sonic Wave

The idea is Silver idol gives all defending creatures in battle first attack. And Sonic wave does 20 damage to all first attack creatures. I don't own Silver Idol to test this and I'd like to know if the computer is actually counting cards as first attackers outside of battle or if it only checks for this idol effect during battle before adding it. If they were lazy and made this effect work like other idols do then its a loophole that lets you magicbolt the entire board. If not...well it was a reason to play Culdcept tonight.

Anyone willing to help me bust this idea?

Unfortunately Silver Idol only gives first attack to creatures during battle so it will likely not work. I tested it in Culdcept PS2 but not Saga, so I don't know if the two cards have changed in how they behave.

Yeah I came here to post about finally getting the cards needed to check this today and totally got sidetracked by the Peri buff announcement I spotted.

I tried it and they coded it to work right so this one is busted as a non working idea. I had to find out though because it would be so easy to see someone coding this the lazy way and not setting it up to begin checking for these abilities in the right order. Props to Omiyasoft for being clean and precise in coding to prevent this combo.
