I play saga with my brother and was wondering if there is enough new content in revolt to make it worth both of us picking up a 3ds and a copy of the game if we aren't going to play online.

EDIT
Also would a 2ds work fine? And I'm assuming any version would allow me to hook the system to my tv for a bigger screen, lmk if that isn't correct. Thanks guys

Our "What is Culdcept?" guide shows the differences between the games in the series... long story short, YES, there's plenty of new content and it's well worth both of you getting it.

Several people in the chat use a 2DS to play Culdcept Revolt, so that's no problem also.

I think I'm going to have to get it either way lol, the bug has hit me again! Hopefully I can score a used 3ds for a reasonable price. A bit disappointing that they removed some of the advanced/more complex features like immediate, double cast, idols and dual land creatures but I'm sure there is new stuff I'll like just as much.

well, got a used 3ds xl for $78, a used 2ds xl for $112, and 2 copies of revolt for $58. About to start grinding our collections up. I don't suppose there is a way to download a save file with the cards unlocked already? If not, what's the best way to get all the cards asap? I don't want to play single player any more than I have to.

EDIT: Found the efficiently earn and spend gp article on here, planning on using it as a guide for now unless there is a better way.

Yep, that guide details the best methods we know of. The single-player Quest mode is well worth playing through, because it will teach you a lot about the game in addition to earning Gp as you go.

Have fun!
