I also was able to get my round 2 match in against xganstacrizzab on Colosseum III on Sunday after I’d finished my match with Willben.
Similar to my earlier match this game was only supposed to go 25 rounds and thus luck would be a key factor especially since the game was bound to go all 25 being on such a resource poor map. As it happened luck was all on my side this time giving tons of unlucky rolls to gangsta as well as being cruelly ironic on the draws (ie about 2/3 of the way through he landed on my poorly defended lvl 4 land with a single creature and no items in his hand leaving him just 10st short of being able to take the land from me and give him a strong chance to come back. Of course after being bankrupted by that fine the very next turn he drew his Stormcauser. Despite staying cool under the pressure my decks movement control elements put on him, gangsta just wasn’t able to overcome luck in this one making the final score 5783 – 307 in my favour.
Good game xgangstacrizzab. The final score didn’t reflect how you played. I hope you have better luck in your other matches.

Wednesday night xSINxCITYxAPOCx and I played out round 1 match. In the end I won, but Sin City played an excellent game and forced me to continuously think ahead by 4 or 5 moves throughout most of the game just to maintain my fragile lead.
In fact, considering how well Sin was playing, if it weren’t for a very unlucky roll that he got on round 37 (3 rounds from the end) forcing him to pay a 1k G toll I believe the game would have come down to the wire since he had a very strong chain in the making before that point (as well as a few very valuable symbols) which he might have been able to level enough in the last round or two to possibly get back ahead of me.
Very well played Sin. Best of luck in your other matches and I hope we get to play again sometime.

Yesterday night I won against xSINxCITYxAPOCx on Eusia. It was my mass damage/symbol deck versus his First Attack deck. Since highlander was in effect I was very limited with what I could do. Since the map condition was multi and we could only use first attack creatures, Elemental Rage and Sonic Wave became very handy. Also since all of Fire and Earth's attack first creatures have land requirements, I assumed that my opponent would use Air and Water so I added Burning Hail to my deck. Mass Damage proved quite effective especially since there was a temple and high lap and fort bonuses. Keeping the board clean was not a problem either, and I snagged what territory was available with Goblin's Lair. I knew that this match was going to be a long one so I just went for the final round rather than the TG which would later give me a hard earned victory.

The deadline has passed. I am advancing Jasoya to the winner's bracket for having the next best win/loss ratio. He has also actively attempted to get his final match in to no avail. I can't fault him for not accomplishing it.

Congratulations to Sin City, Derecto7, Marsupial311 and xtremesyko678. You are our Random bracket! Pairings are posted in the Chaos Play Offs Thread.

Thanks for a great Chaos 2.0 tournament. Had a lot of good factors come from it. A spreadsheet was made and a ladder was born. Can't say I'm displeased that an idea I had grabbed this much attention. Good luck to the play off competitors!
