You might've noticed starting today that your gamercard is gone from the forum. Unfortunately, mygamercard.net pulled the plug on their site overnight, and took Central's gamercard feature with it.

Don't worry, though... I'll be restoring the feature as soon as possible! In the meantime, if you have any suggestions as to what gamercard the forum ought to use, please reply to this thread with a link to it.

OK, gamercards are back. If you find that the forum pages are loading too slowly for your liking because of the cards, please post a reply and I'll look for another alternative. Thanks.

That's a good thought. Unfortunately, it's programmed as a custom field and there isn't a preference setting to enable/disable viewing those fields. Perhaps future versions of phpbb (the software this forum runs on) will add that ability. Of course, if the new gamercard source goes away too (which is likely, as it appears to be the only decent one left, now that mygamercard.net is gone, and they're likely to suddenly get a crapton of traffic), I'll just convert it to a text field, and that'll work just as well.
