This is probably my most defensive deck. This game is geared toward defense, and I would be foolish to not comply. This is one of the first decks I ever made (probably right after Helping Hand).

If you wonder what these creatures have in common, one thing: they stop scrolls. So, if you can't hit them with scrolls, and they are reflected or they have counter amulet, how do you kill them? You don't. Pump up your creatures, chain your territories, level them up and relax. Your Land-Protected level 5 Gremlin with 100HP is great. Use Reflection on level 2-3 territories. Something that will force them to spend to take it out.

Do not evolve Dragonewt, he does you no good evolved. Again, hyper-offensive decks are going to have an advantage over highly defensive decks, but very few decks you face are geared totally toward offense. Most people have balance. And that balance will ruin them against this deck. Ground Gear + Sky Gear makes the ever-popular Androgear, which is a beast in this deck.

Quicksand is great for forcing your opponent to pay you. Fame is great for getting you a lot of money.
