• Summary of the processing order of battle abilities • Priority has two colors, red and blue. The colors aren't important but changes in color are as they describes changes in priority. • During each battle phase abilities are processed in the following order   - higher priority > lower priority   - initiator > terminator   - creature > enchantment > item
Example 1 Skeleton (Invader, Initiator) + Plate Mail vs. Minotaur (Defender, Terminator) + Angry Mask Both survive the battle, and after damage is calculated, the end of battle abilities are activated in this order: Weakness Damage (Angry Mask) > Regeneration (Skeleton).
Example 2 Minotaur (Invader, Initiator) + Angry Mask vs. Skeleton (Defender, Terminator) Both survive the battle, and after damage is calculated, the end of battle abilities are still activated in this order: Weakness Damage (Angry Mask) > Regeneration (Skeleton).
The order doesn't change because Angry Mask's weakness damage corresponds to a higher priority ability than regeneration.
Example 3 Skeleton (Invader, Initiator) + Plate Mail vs. Minotaur (Defender, Terminator) + Silver Plow Both survive the battle, and after damage is calculated, the end of battle abilities are activated in this order: Regeneration (Skeleton) > Land Level Up (Silver Plow).
Example 4 Minotaur (Invader, Initiator) + Silver Plow vs. Skeleton (Defender, Terminator) Again, both survive the battle, and after damage is calculated, the end of battle abilities are activated in this order: Land Level Up (Silver Plow) > Regeneration (Skeleton).
In examples 3 and 4, since both regeneration and land level up have the same priority, their activation order depends on who is the initiator and who is the terminator.
As alluded to above, if one creature has two abilities of the same they activate in this order: creature > enchantment > item.
Example 5 Cockatrice (Invader, Initiator) + Battering Ram vs. Minotaur (Defender, Terminator) + Plate Mail After Cockatrice attacks and damage is calculated, on successful attack, abilities are activated in this order: Forced Transformation (Cockatrice) > Instant Death (Battering Ram).
Minotaur becomes Wall of Stone from the Cockatrice's ability, and is instantly killed by the Battering Ram afterwards.
Example 6 Saint (Invader, Initiator) + Twin Spike vs. Minotaur (Defender, Terminator) + Plate Mail After Saint attacks and damage is calculated, on successful attack abilities are activated in this order: Instant Death (Saint) > Forced Transformation (Twin Spike).
The combo fails here because the Saint's Instant Death [ 100%] activates before Twin Spike changes the enemy into a creature.
In the tables below, names in ( ) refer not to the card having the ability, but to the card that grants the ability to a creature.
