A great game if you are forgiving a somewhat poor translation of wording

Graphics [8]:
In board view they are simple and fitting for a board game. A nice addition is the animation of the creatures while waiting on the board. In battle view they appear as standard cards (well illustrated) with the only animation is on the type of attack being done and the way the card is destroyed. I wished they had a feature to turn off the animation or at least speed it up (not aware if such a feature exists) as it gets repetitive after a while and adds time to the game.

Sound [10]:
I like it. The music is simple in tunes and fitting to the over all feet. When you have reached half way though your goal to acquiring the required manna goal, the music speeds up. Again, the music is light and fits rather well.

Gameplay [10]:
Its fun and even if you are slow, this type of game plays well (it is a card game/strategy game). I even played it with a DVD type of controller. The real reason for the high score is that this game is addictive. Trying different deck strategies and always trying to get those rare cards. Another nice feature is the ability to play other players (AI or real people (4 max of either combo). If playing outside of story mode, you can choose the maps and AI opponents (provided that you had encountered them in the story mode).

Manual/Translation [5]:
The in game manual (almost online of sorts but in the TV) is identical to the printed booklet. The problem is that it does not seem to always reflect the game, e.g., indicated a minotaur does damage using the terrain special ability but it does not, the archer does this. Similarly, the card abilities are at times badly worded.

Overall [10]:
Aside from the translated text/manual this is a great game combining as so many others have said Magic the Gathering and Monopoly. The only other game that I can consider close is a palm game called Knight Move.

Things I wish to see [9]:
The creature cards have health and damage. I would have liked to see speed as well in addition to the first strike ability (which would override the speed value). If this feature was added, the strategy part would boggle the mind even further.
