Home Map: Temple of the Medium 2

Welcome to Pastow Port. OK to start, this deck is only made for the Temple of the Medium 2 map and no other map. This deck is all about keeping your opponent running around in circles on the center island while you run laps around him/her and buy symbols (you can easily get 100+ symbols). I would advise using Fire or Air symbols depending which one has the least value. The first and most primary objective is to use Aports to send your foe onto the island. Do this by deliberately landing on the portal that sends you to the island by whatever means necessary only if you have Aports in your hand. Otherwise, use Find to search for it and lap until you get Aports. On the turn after you teleport to the island use Aports. This will send your opponent to your square, and since Aports makes you forfeit a die roll you will teleport out of there, leaving your opponent stranded. This is when the Holy Words come into play. Use these to keep your opponents at bay. If he escapes, just use Holy Word 0 on him. In case that your opponents are packing Barrier or movement spells of their own, Dispel Magic and Shatter are there for those exact reasons. Also, use Drain Magic, Judgment, and Pain to make your opponent dirt poor (if you manage to keep your opponent at 0-30G that is great and is most desirable. Ebony Idol and Powder Eater are your primary creatures because of their abilities. Ebony Idol will stop those who use Territory Abilities that gain G, especially Witch. That was a weakness in Aports 0, but not in this deck. Use Spirit Walk to spam your Powder Eaters around the board. Ares is there just to make your Powder Eaters a bit more fierce (after all, he is the Commanding General of Pastow Port). Don't worry about taking any lands on the island because that will actually help your opponent in the long run. Spells are more important here than creatures so you should average 1 creature card and 5 spell cards in hand. This deck does not need items because your opponents should not be able to frequently invade your creatures and take territories in the first place. If somehow your opponent manages to put an army of creatures down, then use the Catastrophe+Catastrophe combo to clear the board.

Overall, this deck is made for just one-on-one matches (unlike Aports 0 which could be used in a 3-way FFA), and is the only type of deck that consistently makes an opponent have a respectively flat line graph at the end of every match. The only biggest weakness for this deck is its inability to work well on any other map than Temple of the Medium 2. In my opinion, this deck in comparison to Aports 0 is about equal if not a tad better in one-on-one matches, because of its fewer weaknesses such as G-generating TAs and Ebony Idol.
